To enable daily updates in your Action, configure one of its intents as a triggering intent and add a prompt for subscribing to daily updates. Then, when users invoke the intent, they can select a time of day to receive daily updates—which schedules an Assistant notification on their device.
Be sure to design your subscription dialog well. Make it clear that your daily update will provide value to them on a regular basis, and avoid repeating the subscription prompt too many times or in too many contexts. Also, if possible, offer the daily update subscription midway through your conversation—as opposed to at the end of the interaction—to minimize the impact on the user’s timeline.
