Therefore, adaptation to climate change is very important. Governments and international organizations must increase investment in climate-resilient agricultural research and infrastructure. Educational programs for farmers so that they can adopt sustainable agricultural techniques are urgently needed. For example, the introduction of integrated farming that combines crops and livestock could increase resistance to drought. A community-based approach is also important for building food security. Local communities must be involved in planning and implementing drought management strategies. Collaboration between governments, NGOs and the private sector can create holistic solutions to overcome this threat. From a social perspective, drought has far-reaching impacts.
